Kelsey started drifting in 2008. She progressed into competitions in 2012, competing in multiple ProAm competitions and series. Upon earning her Formula Drift Pro 2 license, Kelsey jumped into a full season of Pro 2 competition in 2015 with her 2.2 liter SR-powered S14. Realizing her 500hp car was not enough, she and her team built a 5.0 Supercharged Ford Aluminator-powered S14 with about 700hp to the wheels for the 2016 season. Building a brand new car and pioneering a swap that hadn't been done before came with several complications, but most issues came from her power steering pumps. After years of R&D, she and her team believe they finally solved the issue of blowing power steering pumps in 2020. With a car that is feeling better than ever (besides being a little tired after 5 years of competition), Kelsey is ready to tackle the 2021 competition in the new Formula Drift ProSpec (formerly Pro 2) Series.
